Definition of Divorce
Divorce is a word used for the cessation of a marriage contract. There are different ways of bringing a marriage contract to an end. Some are lawful, some are not. Divorce has some implications, obligations and rights. Islam has a laid down procedure for divorce.
Introduction
In Islam, marriage is an age-long contract between the husband and the wife. Islam encourages spouses to live together in harmony and prevent separation or divorce. Allah describes a marriage contract as a strong covenant Q 4:21. However, in cases reconciliation of parties to a marriage contract is impossible, Islam, reluctantly, permits divorce.

The Arabic word for school of ‘Fiqr’ is madhhad plural of madhhib. The Sunnah schools of Islamic thought mostly organized by people are

  1. Malikisu.
  2. Hamifi.
  3. Shafii.
  4. Hambali.
               Each of the four founder of this school is experienced in Mauhi much of the following, interpretation (Tafsir) its principle of language (Lugha), the Hadiths and other Islamic Religious sciences.

Zakkat

Zakkah is the third pillars of Islam, it is an obligatory charity. It is payable on one’s properties that has spent a year with the owner. It is payable to the poor and needy. It is due only when the property reaches a measure called Nisab.
People to be giving Zakkah Q9:93
  1. Poor.
  2. Needy.
  3. Those who work for it collection and distribution.
  4. Those hearts that have been inclined towards Islam, to attracts them.
  5. Free captives.
  6. Those in debts.
  7. Allah’s cause.
  8. The way farer's (a traveler who is cut off from everything).

Meaning of Hajj


Meaning of Hajj:

Hajj means pilgrimage; it is an obligatory act of Idam of Islam of traveling from one’s home to Makah in order to perform certain rituals in the House of Allah for those who has the mean and are physically fit to make the journey with the soft intention of obedience to the commandment of Allah.
Hajj is only obligatory once in one’s life time, the subsequent one performed are Sunnah.
Allah commands the performance of Hajj in the following verse.
               “Lo! The first statuary appointed for mankind was that of Bakka? (Makah) a blessed place, a guidance to people, where in plain memorials (of Allah’s guidance); the place where Abraham stood up to pray; and whoever entered. It is safe, and pilgrimage to the House is duties unto Allah for mankind, for him who can find a way there to. As for him who disbelieved (let him know that) lo! Allah is independent of (all) creatures.” (Q3:96-97).

Qualities of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)


  1. The qualities of the Prophet (S.A.W) differ from one another.
  • Patience differs from perseverance, while patience means to exercise some restraint in a difficult circumstance, perseverance means ability to accommodate hardship (endurance)
  • Foresight and wisdom are slightly different from each other. Foresight means to look far ahead in issues beyond what people what other people could immediately think of.
  • Wisdom on the other hand means the ability bestowed upon someone by God with which he solves problems considered by other people as unsolvable.
  • Firmness connotes sticking firmly to a known and accepted principle or idea.
  • Honesty requires a person to tell the truth even against himself or his beloved ones no matter the consequences.
  • Kindness means showing sympathy on someone without being unjust. It also connotes showing concern for peoples’ welfare. It differs with justice who refers to the ability of someone to treat people equitably without misled by love or hatred; friendship or enmity.

Islamic political system with special reference to the sovereign of Allah (S.W.T) as                           the basis for Islamic political system
The word sovereign as a noun means the controller of political power (complete power to govern a country). In Islam, the sovereign is Allah, The Creator, The Shaper and The Controller of political power. Therefore, the phrase sovereignty of Allah means the eternal right of Allah to rule over all the creatures on earth, since He is the creator, The Owner and The Shaper of whatever is on Earth and in Heaven
Sovereignty of Allah as the basis of Islamic Political system Thought.
Islamic political system though, is based on the fact that power belongs to Allah alone. Therefore, whoever exercises power on earth does that as a representative of Allah. As such, the Ruler should rule his dolmen in accordance to the wish of Allah as he revealed to His Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) all transaction and legal system on the state must be geared towards realizing the pleasure of Allah as contained in the Qur’an Hadith and in other sources of Shari’a.
